I'm a martial artist. I have been for years, and I love it as much now as I did when I was a kid. These days I run a thriving club in Surrey and I'm lucky enough to have some fantastic martial artists as my students. We train hard, we focus on techniques that work, and we make sure that what we do is as good as we can make it. That's what motivated me to start The Weapon Store.
The Weapon Store is about me bringing the passion I have for martial arts into more than just my own club. It's about helping you take a step closer to reaching your potential. I'm guessing you're a martial artist if you're still reading this so you know what I mean when I say that however good I get I only ever end up realising how much further I have to go. Getting the right tools to help me has made a massive difference to my own journey as well as that of my students. Why not let me help you too?
Lots of people sell martial arts equipment, some of it good, some of it dreadful. I can honestly say that I won't sell anything I don't believe is good. Though saying that there's always a compromise to be had. Sometimes the perfect item is prohibitively expensive and the one we can afford isn't quite up to the job. If you fall into that category and you're unsure what to do then get in touch, I'll happily help you work out the direction you need to compromise.
The Weapon Store isn't some faceless business simply out to make money from you. It's just me, an awful lot of martial arts equipment, and an honest desire to help.
You may have heard that "Samurai" swords are banned in the UK. Well happily this isn't strictly true. Certain types of swords are banned, specifically those which have not been made using traditional techniques. As all of the swords on this site have been hand forged by highly skilled craftsmen this is not an issue. However for us to be allowed to sell you one we'll need to see that you are both 18 years old or over and a paid up member of a martial arts club/organisation. After completing the checkout process we will send you a confirmation email with details of what we need to see and how to get it to us.
In the mean time why not write to your MP and let him know how you feel about this law.
